The role:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong focus on testing to join our team on a fixed-term contract. You will be instrumental in helping to deliver a whole-of-business software stack uplift project taking place over an 12-month period. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that these IT solutions not only meet business requirements but also pass rigorous testing standards to guarantee their functionality, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between our project team, key areas of the business and the vendor to ensure clear communication and understanding of business requirements.

Collaborate with internal staff at all levels, particularly key stakeholders, to define and document requirements for key aspects of the project.

Conduct thorough analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide detailed insights and recommendations for implementation of project requirements.

Provide input and direction into the testing strategy.

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, scripts and playbooks to validate that solutions meet the specified requirements and quality standards.

Facilitate and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of solutions.

Provide ongoing support and communication throughout the change management process to promote understanding and ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:

Possess a relevant accreditation as a Business Analyst or Software Testing (ISTQB certification Foundation level or above preferred)

Proven experience working within a project team/environment.

5+ years of experience in analytics and system development desirable.

Experience in generating process documentation, testing playbooks and user training content

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.

Proven ability to manage project related activities and user testing

Extensive experience with data visualization and process mapping

High proficiency in technical writing

Experience in preparing and delivering user training is desirable

Experience utilising change management methodology or techniques is desirable
