The City of Cockburn is establishing a pool of suitable applicants for Netball, Basketball, Volleyball and Futsal (Soccer) Umpires.

At Cockburn ARC we strive for excellence in everything we do. Our indoor stadium features 6 multi-purpose courts where we run 3 seasons of Senior Social Sports offering Basketball, Futsal and Volleyball on Monday to Thursday evenings, Netball both evenings and days, and Junior Basketball on Fridays. We’re focused on service, placing the customer at the forefront of our decision making and aspire for outstanding service that people talk about.

About You:
You will be someone who has experience in umpiring sports and be able to facilitate a welcoming, safe and inclusive competition for ARC patrons and participants.
- Professional, motivated and friendly disposition, able to relate to a wide array of people.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively manage conflict.
- Drive to deliver our service vision of “Outstanding Service People Talk about”
- Passionate about community engagement through sport, health and fitness.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Relevant umpiring accreditation in your chosen sport, or relevant experience (Netball C Badge, Basketball Level 1 and/or Futsal/Soccer Level 4).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification and Working With Children's Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
- National Police Clearance (within 30 days)
Pay Rate: $42.82 per hour (including 25% casual loading).
