This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Financial Accountant to join and contribute to a growing and dynamic finance team.

The Role
This is a key accounting position responsible for managing end-to-end financial reporting, compliance obligations, and financial analysis across several business entities. The role offers exposure to a wide range of finance functions including statutory compliance, inventory control, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Complete end-to-end month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations and intercompany transactions
  • Oversee payments to suppliers, ensuring correct allocation and GST compliance
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and capital works in progress
  • Manage perpetual inventory system integrity and standard cost updates
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reports
  • Provide financial insights and support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Contribute to data analytics initiatives using tools such as Power BI
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain quality and safety standards
The Candidate
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role
  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline, with CPA/CA qualification
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (Pronto desirable) and advanced Excel skills
  • Exposure to inventory accounting and manufacturing industry preferred
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
  • Clear communicator with a team-focused attitude
