Administrative Assistant

Role Purpose

This entry-level, customer-facing role provides a range of essential administrative functions, under supervision, that support the day-to-day operations of the office. The Administrative Assistant is passionate about delivering high-quality service and contributes to a professional and welcoming environment, working under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact via switchboard and reception with a friendly, helpful manner.

  • Schedule appointments and meetings, and prepare rooms accordingly.

  • Perform accurate data entry, filing, formatting, and proofreading of documents.

  • Maintain stock levels and manage office/site supply orders.

  • Coordinate routine office equipment maintenance to ensure functionality.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy protocols.

  • Provide general administrative assistance to internal staff across departments.

  • Assist with event coordination and logistics.

  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers.

  • Support ad hoc projects as required to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in office administration or similar role.

  • Familiarity with the NDIS framework and the disability services sector.

  • Minimum SACE or equivalent secondary education.

  • Certificate-level qualifications in business administration or related fields.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • An understanding of the NDIS and disability.
