Our client is a locally owned engineering firm specialising in the marine, mining, mineral processing and oil & gas industries. We are seeking candidates with suitable experience and trade certificate to join their site team based in Henderson.
About the roles:
- Multiple roles: Boilermaker/Pipe Fitters & Welders
- Leading Hand roles available (Exotics & Carbon Workshops)
- Workshop role based in Henderson
- ASAP Start
- Monday - Fridays 10hr days
- Must be available for weekend work
- On-going roles
- Weekly payroll
Must Have:
- Relevant Trade Certificates
- CSWIP or Equivalent welding inspection certification
- Must be competent in Flux Core, MIG and STT in Stainless Steel
- Workshop experience (Exotic & Leading Hand workshop experience HIGHLY regarded- Duplex, Super Duplex, Alloy Nickels, Titanium and Aluminium)
- Relevant Welding, Boiler making & Pipe Fitting Experience
- Sound knowledge of Work Safe Regulations
- 'C' Class Drivers License
- EWP Ticket
- Dogging and Rigging Ticket
- Confined Space
- Fire Sentry
- Forklift Ticket
- First Aid Certificate
The Positions:
- The works is generally replacement of defective pipework
- Fitting of pipes for light wall, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel materials.
- Work can often be in confined spaces
- Previous experience in marine or industrial systems is highly desirable
- A very good understanding of permit to works systems & compliance of systems is a must
- Must have your own car & have a valid driver’s license
- A police check may be required. Having convictions may affect your chances of employment due to client security requirements
