We have a permanent, full-time position available based in Mirrabooka.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide therapy services to children and adults that meets the highest quality possible within Therapy Focus standards of service delivery.
  • Manage a diverse caseload (equipment, functional assessments, sensory & emotional regulation, social communication, fine motor etc.) providing evidence-based assessments and services in home, schools, community, and clinic locations
  • Liaise with NDIS participants and their supports families, carers, health professionals and agencies, to understand the client’s needs and define their goals
  • Design appropriate therapy and equipment recommendations and support plans

What makes you the right candidate?

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with a minimum of 4 years’ experience
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Enjoy managing a diverse caseload
  • Have the drive to develop skills and knowledge across a range of clinical presentations or want to further their expertise in an existing clinical specialisation
  • Able to build trusting, working relationships throughout the organisation to support a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach
  • Be motivated, resilient and flexible whilst navigating complex cases
  • Knowledge of working within the confines of the NDIS
  • Hold a valid Senior First Aid Certificate with at least 6 months validity
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with a strong focus on customer outcomes
  • All successful candidates must have or be willing to obtain a Drivers License, WCC, National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
