Compensation: $38.02–$45.24 per hour - based on experience and qualifications
Part-Time | Permanent | Minimum 15 hours across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Availability required between 6:30am – 6:00pm

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead the educational program for children aged 0 to 5 years, using your knowledge of early childhood pedagogy to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Working alongside a passionate team, you will help shape a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, curious, and supported in their development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality, play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Develop strong, respectful relationships with children to support their well-being and sense of belonging.
- Maintain open and regular communication with families to support each child’s learning journey.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other educators, fostering a culture of growth and reflection.
- Document children’s learning through observations, learning stories, and portfolios.
- Create inclusive and engaging environments that promote exploration and development.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure alignment with the National Quality Standard (NQS), EYLF and Atlantis' educational philosophy.
- Participate in regular professional development and team collaboration.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and passionate educator who brings creativity, leadership and purpose to their teaching practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), approved by ACECQA.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher or in a similar educational leadership role.
- A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and current best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent planning, documentation and communication skills.
- A collaborative and professional approach, with the ability to lead and inspire others.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- A valid Working With Children Check.
- Flexibility and commitment to working within a team-focused environment.
