Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/08/2026.

Position Profile: The Advanced Scope Physiotherapist as the first point of contact for patients referred to the Emergency Department, provides expert consultation, independent clinical assessment and triage functions, and determines appropriate treatment plans, in independent of the Emergency Physicians direction. Act as a clinical musculoskeletal consultant for medical, nursing and allied health team in the Emergency Department. Demonstrates high level expertise and clinical leadership to contribute to departmental performance, quality improvement, research and education for the emergency ambulatory service and profession.
