About the role
Our client requires 24/7 support in the home and is looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join an established team. Your experience with complex client care, particularly spinal injuries, will ensure you develop, learn, and make a difference.
Located in Darling Downs, your role will involve assisting with day-to-day tasks such as personal care, bowel care, domestic assistance, meal preparation and manual handling.
You will be able to have access to a variety of consistent shifts (Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts Available) and ensure a work life balance is your number one priority whilst also making a huge impact to our client’s life.
Training sessions with our experienced allied health and nursing team will ensure you have the knowledge and support required to succeed.
About you
To join our team, you will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in disability

Excellent verbal communication skills
-
Spinal Injury experience (Preferable but not essential)

Manual Handling
-
First Aid Certificate
-
NDIS Worker Screening Check
-
Working with Children's Check
-
Cert 3 or 4 in Disability, Aged or Community

Australian Driver's License
You are a great communicator and have extensive experience with Manual Handling and be able to work within an amazing team of experienced and passionate people.
