The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project is the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, and will complete 78km of non-stop, traffic light-free motorway between Gawler and Old Noarlunga. The T2D Project will deliver a wide range of social, economic, environmental and safety benefits, not only for Adelaide, but for all of South Australia.
The Opportunity
The Program Manager is responsible for providing professional technical expertise and project management across a range of activities within the North-South Corridor River Torrens to Darlington Project.
The Program Manager is responsible for the delivery and management of a range of activities across the North-South Corridor Division including reporting to the Director, Project Planning, Land & Environment for the purpose of planning, development and management of priority initiatives, managing deliverables relating to off-corridor works, land and environment matters and stakeholder interactions, and supporting the pre-delivery enabling works program.
The role will also provide technical advice for the preparation of contract documents, for technical project specific requirements and have an interface with key stakeholders.
The Program Manager will coordinate and have responsibility for the tracking and management of program deliverables and the identification and management of risks.

The successful candidate will show a deep understanding of project management principles, with a proven ability to project and program outcomes including schedules, costs and risks. You'll demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, analytical expertise, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions. Exceptional communication skills are a must, enabling you to navigate complex negotiations and foster cooperation.

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements
A recognised degree or postgraduate qualification providing eligibility for professional accreditation in Civil Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline or the discipline of planning or transport planning is required.
The following are technical capabilities of the role:
- Significant relevant experience managing and providing professional technical advice for major construction infrastructure projects or similar is desirable.
- Experience in the management of civil works is essential.
A current driver’s licence is essential.
Special Conditions
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 3 years.
Remuneration
PO5 - $124,449 to $130,253 pa + superannuation
