Competitive salary and benefits:

- Salary range: $210,332 to $266,677 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing ( https://www.careers.health.qld.gov.au/working-for-us/salary-and-benefits/salary-packaging ) options may be available
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
About your opportunity
The Staff Specialist will provide a tertiary referral radiation oncology service across North Queensland, in accordance with the standard of the speciality and the ethics of the profession, in particular with respect to quality assurance and best clinical practice.
To achieve this they will work collaboratively as part of interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, allied health, scientific and technical staff.
Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Queensland as a Specialist in Radiation Oncology.
- The successful applicant should hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologist or a registrable equivalent. Those eligible for Fellowship within the next 12 months will also be considered.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
