Position Duration: Now until mid-August
Hours: 20+ hours per week
Mandatory Shifts: Saturdays (8:30am – 3:00pm) & Sundays (8:30am – 1:00pm)
Are you passionate about the arts and love working with people? We're looking for a Gallery Assistant to join our team at the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in Townsville for a casual, part-time role through to mid-August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to gallery visitors
- Assist with daily operations, events, and exhibitions
- Ensure safety and security of artwork and the gallery space
- Maintain a welcoming environment in line with the gallery’s standards
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) – these are non-negotiable
- QLD Working with Children Blue Card
- Current National Police Check
- C Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical , including drug & alcohol screening
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and work ethic
- A supportive and creative work environment
