About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • As a member of a multidisciplinary team, deliver competent level social work services to individuals and their support networks based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics, AASW Professional Practice Standards and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes. X
  • Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing routine social work advice and collaboration on the delivery of an integrated recovery and rehabilitation strategy and care plan for MIRT consumers, including the delivery of brief therapeutic interventions and approaches.
  • Participate in the identification, development and implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities that enhance the delivery of Social Work services within a mobile intensive rehabilitation setting.
