What can you expect in a day in this role:
With the opening of our new precinct, The Range right around the corner, we are looking to expand our cleaning team. As a night cleaner, you will work 10:30 pm- 2:30 am and will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our public areas and guest facilities, in addition to the staff areas and back of the house. Some duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and sanitising public areas
- Restroom maintenance, ensuring all stock is supplied and surfaces are clean
- Trash removal throughout the whole property
- Surface cleaning and floor care
- Cleaning within our gaming and casino floor
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety
- Interact with guests in a positive and kind manner
What you will bring to the role:
Along with a keen eye for detail, a motivated attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for your work, you will bring the following to the role:
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- A proven ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and confidently on your own
- Comfort with the physical demands of the role, including manual tasks and being on your feet for extended periods
- Previous cleaning experience is highly regarded, though not essential – training can be provided for the right candidate
- A clear alignment with the values and standards of Country Club Tasmania, demonstrated through your attitude and work ethic
- Availability to work night shifts from 10:30 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekend work based on business needs
