We require a professional who likes a job with variety and who loves a challenge, supporting the Group Financial Controller.
The role of Company Accountant involves providing accounting support to the Finance Manager and Company, responsibilities including are not limited to:
- Maintain controls over bank, suppliers, payroll and general ledger reconciliations
- Conduct and report on variance analyses
- Prepare monthly consolidated management financial reports
- Prepare investment portfolio reports
- Treasury management
- Prepare ASX and statutory reports – monthly NTA’s, monthly cashflows, quarterly cashflows, half year auditor reviewed and full year audited reports
- Prepare BAS, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax returns and insurance related documentation
- ASIC, ASX compliance, forms and reporting
- Liaison with share registry – corporation actions
- Drafting of memos, board papers and other required documents
- Company and capital markets research
- Due diligence on investment opportunities
- Travel and expense claims, cash and credit card reconciliations
- Statutory reports on revenues and expenditures
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts and reporting on variance analyses
- Financial modelling and analysis
