The role:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide high-quality, one-on-one care for a male client living with a spinal cord injury. This role involves supporting the client both at home and in the community, assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and community engagement.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 3 months of paid experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities.
- Proficiency in hoist transfers and bowel care (including digital stimulation and enema administration).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
- A positive, solution-focused attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients.
- Competence in meal preparation and supporting dietary requirements.
- Ideally, you live within 20–30 minutes of Fortitude Valley, QLD.
