The Role:
As a Support Worker in Pine Point, SA, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
This client requires assistance with domestic duties and transport assistance. We required a Support Worker who is happy to drive the client to Kadina and back for shopping. This shift will be 4 hours, once per fortnight. The clients preference is Fridays from 10am-2pm, however they are happy to be flexible for the right candidate. If the client is happy with the Support Workers cleaning then they would like to add a weekly cleaning shift for an additional 2 hours per week.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Must be available Fridays
- Must have a reliable car. Preferably one that is not difficult for clients to climb into.
