About this opportunity:
The Senior Development Engineer will be responsible for the design, assessment, and construction of civil infrastructure projects. The role requires building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the community and the development industry.
- Collaborate to foster stakeholder relationships.
- Utilise expertise in the design, assessment, and construction of civil infrastructure.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Liaise and negotiate with external stakeholders on engineering matters.
- Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of Council's Planning Scheme documents and policies.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and negotiation skills.
- Effective communication through interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Commitment to continuous learning, with support to become a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) through the DPE program.

- Base annual salary of $ 105,102.92
- Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply).
