The emphasis of the position is to deliver and undertake teaching and research within the areas of building measurement and quantity surveying. Additional experience related to any of the areas listed below would be preferred:
Construction technology Building Information Modelling (BIM) Building services Contract administration Construction managementAbout the person
The successful applicant will hold a PhD in a relevant field and/or have equivalent extensive relevant industry experience. The successful applicant will also be a member of or be eligible to be a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors or suitable equivalent.
As a member of academic staff, the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $134,792.41 plus 12% superannuation per annum. Salary packaging options are available for eligible employees.
