About the opportunity
We are currently seeking an efficient and professional Casual Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Roxburgh Park home, nestled in a picturesque location between recreational parkland and a lake, in the residential area of Roxburgh Park .
You will work with enthusiastic and diverse people in modern facilities, and you will be supported to develop your skills.You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment and supports individuals to further develop their skills.
About the Role
- Plating food at mealtimes
- Preparing food under the direction of Chef
- Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
- Restocking supplies and receive goods
- Recording temperatures, complete checklists
- Maintaining personal hygiene standards
- Working as a member of the Food Services teams
About you:
- Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
- Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
- A person who takes pride in what they do
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
- Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
