About the role

Permanent full time and part time opportunity to deliver formulation-driven therapy (psychological and psychosocial interventions) to consumers of public mental health services, whose behaviours are causing harm or putting themselves or others at risk of harm.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Contribute to assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and delivery of targeted psychological and psychosocial problem behaviour interventions for eligible consumers of public mental health services.
  • Deliver contemporary high level clinical therapy services based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with a high degree of independence, to ensure patient focused outcomes.
  • Utilise high level communication and negotiation skills with staff, consumers, carers/family members, supervisors, students, researchers, Non-Government, government and Private sector health and support service providers and other stakeholders to support comprehensive and individualised service delivery outcomes for consumers across the broader mental health service.
