Domestic / Export SalespersonBeing a member of the sales department, you will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with customers, and ensuring they receive the best possible service. You will work closely with internal departments to deliver high-quality meat products tailored to our customer’s needs. The opportunities for the right candidate in this role are endless.
ResponsibilitiesThe Role:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to grow sales· Provide expert advice to customers on product selection, pricing and availabilityAbility to identify and develop new business opportunities and manage ongoing relationshipsMaintain a high level of product and brand knowledgeMonitor inventory proactively to maintain optimal stock levelsLiaise with the Logistics team on schedules and details for relevant ordersLiaise with relevant departments and customers to develop new specifications and labelsReviews fluctuating markets analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates and develop sales to accommodate the goals of the companyHandle phone and email inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
QualificationsThe Person:
· Experience in meat sales, either wholesale or retail is preferable· Excellent attention to detail· Excellent written and verbal communication (English is a must)· Strong computer literacy in excel, word and outlook (intermediate to advanced preferred)· Reviews fluctuating markets analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates and develop sales to accommodate goals of the company· Customer service orientated – Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner with customers to resolve matters related to accounts/sales· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment· Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic attitude
