About the role
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time and a Part-time Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice. You will work closely with our dentists and dental hygienists to ensure the smooth running of our clinic.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner with direct hands-on interaction.

Answering incoming phone calls, booking appointments and managing the clinic's schedule using our Practice management software EXACT.

Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport

Generate marketing content for social media

Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked

Manage open treatment plans, recalls and cancellation patient list
-
Assisting dentists and dental hygienists during patient procedures as needed

Adhere and follow infection control practices

Maintaining accurate patient records and handling billing and insurance claims

Ordering and restocking dental supplies

Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and caring, empathetic and professional approach to working with patients you'll have/be:
-
Experience in a similar Admin/Receptionist Front Office facing role 1 year (Preferred)

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident is essential for this role (Required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient care (Required)

Proficient in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications (Preferred)

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask (Required)

Self starter and motivated to work as team player (Required)

Possession of or willingness to pursue a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or to start a traineeship(Preferred)

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for the dental industry (Preferred)

Willing to commit to the position long-term Full-time (Required)
Day Shift: Monday to Friday 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM
Work Location - In Person - 340 Bell Street, Preston
Expected Start date: Immediately
