- We’re currently recruiting a Transport Allocator to join the team on-site at a major distribution facility in Wetherill Park .
- This is a key operational role, responsible for planning and executing daily delivery schedules, monitoring independent contractors, and ensuring all freight movements are compliant, efficient, and delivered to the highest standards.
- You’ll work closely with drivers, contractors, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where precision and teamwork are critical.
- Plan and manage daily load and route schedules to meet service and compliance targets.
- Direct and monitor independent contractors to maximise utilisation and meet KPIs.
- Maintain live, accurate data entry in transport systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Promote and uphold a safety-first culture, including fatigue management and CoR compliance.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- 2+ years’ experience in allocation, transport planning, or coordination.
- Geographical knowledge of Sydney and the surrounding areas.
- Familiarity with Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and transport management systems.
- Certificate III in Business or relevant field (preferred), plus a current driver’s licence.
- Full-time, stable position on-site in Wetherill Park.
