Package: (FULL-TIME HOURS with ANNUAL LEAVE)
- $28.12 per hour Monday-Friday
- $35.15 per hour -Saturday
- $42.18 per hour-Sunday
- 5 day week (Monday to Friday)
- Split shifts - breakfast and lunch
- Accommodation and Duty Meals $140 per week
- Shared Staff house off-site, own room, shared living areas & bathroom
The successful candidate must have basic cooking and bar experience, be responsible and able to use initiative.
Duties: (full position description available)
- Answering to the head chef, prep and cooking of the breakfast menu
- Preparing for the lunch and dinner service
- Cleaning of the kitchen
- Maintaining customer service standards, ensuring that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner
- Set up and open the bar
- General bar duties, making drinks, serving customers, taking food orders, unpacking of stock, cash handling
- Gaming duties
- Providing fast and efficient service
- Ensure all meals are prepared and presented in a professional manner
- Communicating effectively with customers and fellow staff
- Compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995
- Compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations
- Previous cooking and bar experience
- Able to use initiative and work unsupervised
- Candidates must have a Food Safety Certificate
- Previous experience working shifts on your own preferred
- Hold or be able to obtain an RSA / RSG certificate
- Minimum 6 month commitment
- Daily Qantas Flights from Cairns
- Telstra & Optus Mobile Coverage
