The Bigger PictureAt Andromeda Robotics, we're not just imagining the future of human-robot relationships—we're building it. As a pioneering social robotics startup, our mission is to revolutionise how humans connect with technology by introducing Abi, the world's first empathetic companion robot. With a heart full of compassion and a spirit of kindness, Abi creates deep, meaningful connections with people, making the world a little warmer, a little brighter, and a lot more connected. Just like the beloved characters in your favourite stories, Abi is here to listen, understand, and share joyful moments.
Your Role in the Action
As the Head of People & Culture, you'll lead all aspects of our people strategy, including talent acquisition, employee experience, DEI, organisational development, and HR operations. You'll be instrumental in shaping a culture that reflects our values, drives performance, and ensures every team member thrives.
This is initially a standalone role and as a startup you will be eager to think big picture but also happy to role up your sleeves. You'll shape the soul of Andromeda. You'll create the systems and rituals that help our team thrive. You'll be our strategic partner, culture champion, and hands-on operator—helping us scale with empathy, intention, and humanity.

- Enable high performance - Equipping our people with clarity, feedback, and support so they can do the best work of their careers.
- Attract and retain exceptional talent - Creating a workplace where people want to belong, contribute, and stay.
- Lead with empathy and systems thinking - Designing experiences and processes that help us be more inclusive, thoughtful, and resilient.
- Be the voice of our values - Translating our mission into daily interactions, rituals, and leadership behaviour.
