We are currently looking for Team Leaders and Traffic Controllers to join us, working on multiple major projects, new and existing in Wollongong and nearby suburbs.

Duties

• Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
• Lead and mentor Traffic Control crews
• Provide coaching and training to team members onsite
• Complete vehicle pre-start checks
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
• Report on site hazards and near misses
• Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Traffic Controller Qualification
• Implement Traffic Control Plans Qualification
• AFPA Workers on Foot Certificate
• WHS General Induction (White) Card
• Team Leader experience
• Unrestricted Drivers Licence
• Own Transport - reliable and willing to travel.
• Undergo mandatory drug and alcohol screening.
• Willing to work in an "On Call" environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Willing to learn and expand your skills
