Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinician Advanced / Nurse Manager Patient Experience to join the Safety, Quality and Improvement Unit at Sunshine Coast Health. This leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing patient experience and consumer feedback programs that support measurable and continuous improvement across the Health Service. You will drive the implementation of the National Safety and Quality in Health Care Standards (NSQHS) and lead a dedicated team focused on enhancing patient safety, care, and engagement, while ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development, coordination, and implementation of best practice systems to enhance patient experience and consumer feedback across Sunshine Coast Health.

  • Apply advanced clinical knowledge to manage complex feedback and complaint matters, providing expert advice to clinical teams and stakeholders.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the National Safety and Quality in Health Care Standards (NSQHS) Second Edition across the Health Service.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Patient Experience team, fostering a culture of safety, empathy, and person-centred care.

Remuneration value up to $172 615 p.a., comprising salary between $144 991 - $151 289 p.a., (HP5) and Remuneration value up to $164 212 p.a., comprising salary between $132 562 - $143 924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) . Applications will remain current for 12 months.
