What you'll do
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide support for the DHS ICT Change Management processes in line with ITIL best practice standards and delivered on schedule.
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework
- Develop and maintain the processes, procedures, and related systems, including stakeholder management and vendor engagement.
- Lead changes required as per the roadmap, at the request of the Senior Application Specialist.
- Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health by establishing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 3)
- Demonstrated ability in the provision of high level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
- Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment (SFIA: SLMO Level 4)
- Support delivery of large scale, complex/high risk projects (SFIA Code: PRMG 6)
- Project management skills, with the ability to achieve successful project outcomes (SFIA Code: PRMG 6 (NHS: Drive for Results)
- Knowledge and application of project management methodologies (Prince 2) (SFIA Code: METL 5)
- Well developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working).
- Previous experience working with ieMR application is preferred.
