Position: Remote Area Nurse

Skills and Experience:
Remote Area Nurse (RANs) must be able to work autonomously in demanding situations and are often required to be on call after hours in many clinics.
• Previous experience working in a primary health clinic or small rural facility
• REC, MEC, Pharmacotherapeutics certificates and a current NT immunisation endorsement
• Experience in chronic disease management, suturing, phlebotomy and wound care is valuable
• Ability to work on call as required
Nursing/Midwifery degree and a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia, post-graduation
Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
