Who we are seeking
A passionate and qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career to join our Kitchen Team at Ayers Rock Resort who has;
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship in a similar role
- Previous experience within a large kitchen operation
- Experience within a hotel or resort environment
- Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
About the role
In these roles you will deliver high-quality food to guests by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting the kitchen team in the execution of exceptional culinary experiences.
The key duties to be performed are:
- Engage in a wide range of kitchen duties including but not limited to cleaning, food preparation, basic cookery, and organisation. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times to meet safety regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with all kitchen team members throughout the preparation and service process to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Demonstrate the ability to efficiently multitask, handling multiple orders simultaneously within tight deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
