About Us:
Willow & Jackson Café, located in the heart of Healesville, is a vibrant and welcoming café that brings dreams to life. We are passionate about creating a unique experience for our customers and are excited to invite applications for the position of Senior Barista to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Barista, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional coffee and service to our customers. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for crafting specialty coffee and hot drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee and hot beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Engage with customers and team members to create a welcoming environment.
- Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the café.
Skills & Experience:
- A people-oriented individual with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to think on your feet, multitask, and thrive under pressure.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Barista in a café setting.
- Previous customer service experience (3 years required).
- Food handling experience (2 years preferred).
