Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented exciting openings for Full-Time Night Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Thomastown, VIC primary production facility. Due to demand, the business is adding to their 1500+ employees during this growth phase.$50.32ph base rate + 30% loadingNights: 9pm start, 8-hour days, 5 days per week, M-FSome weekend work required and overtime available
The Role
Supporting the Engineering and Production teams, you will;
Provide technical plant equipment and system support during breakdowns, shutdowns and all preventative maintenance activitiesEnsure maintenance & repairs are carried out to meet OEM standards and specifications Work towards set production rates for equipment performance

Ideal;
Full Electrician’s trade license1+ years in an automated FMCG production environment Sound mechanical maintenance aptitudeAbility to work under pressure and follow proceduresAbility to interpret technical drawings and manualsStrong organisation skills and be happy working on your own as well as part of a team Motivation for Fault finding/diagnosis on systems and equipment Team player, willing to slightly adjust shift times to cover teammatesBasic PLC troubleshooting, VSD and motor controlEquipment: Conveyors, high-speed packaging sensors, food processing machines, etc
