Description:
West HQ is seeking a hands-on and people-focused IT Operations Support Engineer to join our growing ICT team. You’ll work closely with the Helpdesk Engineer and IT Operations team to ensure smooth delivery of support, systems performance, and event technology across our dynamic venue portfolio.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves solving problems, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys supporting a variety of technologies and users.
About the role:
- Support users across devices, apps, and access (Level 1–2)
- Assist with server patching, monitoring, and network troubleshooting
- Maintain and track IT assets and support lifecycle upgrades or refreshes
- Support POS, EFTPOS, AV tech, digital signage, and venue systems
- Respond to after-hours incidents or scheduled maintenance on a shared roster
- Log and manage tickets using our ITSM platform (ServiceDesk Plus)
- Contribute to support documentation and process improvements
About You:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT support or systems delivery
- Strong hands-on knowledge of networking, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft 365, endpoint support, and workplace hardware
- Exposure to AV systems, POS/EFTPOS, or digital signage highly regarded
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a calm, customer-first approach
- Able to work collaboratively across multiple venues and technology environments
