The team advises banks, borrowers, sponsors and funds on complex domestic and international financings, capital raisings and debt restructurings. About the Role
As an Associate, you will support senior lawyers and partners in delivering high-quality advice on a wide range of finance and capital markets matters. You will draft and review documentation for lending facilities, capital markets issuances, security arrangements and restructuring transactions. The role provides broad exposure to cross-border deals and collaboration with corporate, tax and regulatory specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review finance and capital markets transaction documents
- Assist with due diligence, legal opinions and regulatory filings
- Liaise with clients, counsel and other advisers on transaction matters
- Support deal execution across syndicated lending, acquisition finance, and debt restructuring
- Keep abreast of regulatory and market developments in finance and securities law
- Syndicated lending and acquisition finance
- Debt restructuring and workouts
- Capital markets and securities offerings
- Security documentation and enforcement
- Cross-border financing transactions
- 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in finance or capital markets law
- Strong drafting and commercial skills in lending and securities transactions
- Exposure to cross-border finance deals preferred
- Ability to manage multiple files and work collaboratively under pressure
- Client-focused with attention to detail and problem-solving approach
- Work with a leading Irish finance and capital markets team
