BMH Electrics Pty Ltd exists to maintain, install and assess electrical assets and equipment for a wide range of customers including power utilities, mining, digital display technologies, defence and construction.
The Plant Operator (Civil) is responsible for the safe and precise operating of mobile plant on numerous major projects within the metropolitan area.
The Plant Operator (Civil) needs to work in the on major projects for defence, construction, asset management and digital signage sites, and you generally work as an employee.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for safe and precise operation of mobile plant for our major projects
- Complies with all directions provided in Daily Work Packs
- Completes all civil related project works as directed by the site supervisor/project manager/general manager/managing director
- Inspects all civil work completed to ensure we meet scope of work and statutory requirements (QA/QC)
- Survey's civil site plans
- Reports all incidents, hazards and near misses and reports back to the relevant Supervisor and Client Representative
- Ensures all civil work is carried out and recorded as required
- Wear's required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/KPI's
Essential Criteria (Mandatory)
- Highly experienced all-round in mobile plant operation
- Significant skill and experience operating a Skid Steer (Bobcat)
- Significant skill and experience working to statutory standards
- Skid Steer (Bobcat) Certification
- High Risk Card (WA)
- Valid WA Drivers license minimum class C, HR advantageous
- Construction Card (White Card)
- Ability to read and interpret civil site drawings at a minimum
- Strong commitment to health and safety
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in computer based systems
- CPR/LVR
- Working at Heights Training
