Abbey Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team and support the Head Chef in consistently delivering exceptional dishes.

What You’ll Do
As a Cook at Abbey Beach Resort, you will:

• Assist the Head Chef and senior team with food prep, cooking, and plating.
• Prepare a variety of dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
• Ensure food meets high standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
• Follow recipes and portion controls for consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Help with kitchen cleanliness, food storage, and team coordination.
• Support a positive, values-driven team culture.

What You Bring

• Relevant cooking qualification (e.g. Trade School Certificate) – required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food presentation.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.
• Passion for seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
• A team-oriented mindset and good communication.
• Valid food safety & hygiene certification.
• Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
