You’ll lead a high-performing directorate responsible for aligning land use planning, urban design, community outcomes, and strategic advocacy to deliver major initiatives under our Strategic Community Plan. This is a role that has real city-shaping influence.

About You
You're someone who connects strategy to place, and policy to people. Your head is in the future, but your hands know how to deliver.
- Senior-level experience in strategic or statutory planning, sustainable development, or urban design
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence across government and industry
- Confident advocate who can navigate complex decision-making forums and elevate the City’s voice
- Deep understanding of WA planning legislation and development pathways
- Systems thinker who thrives in complexity and can bring vision into alignment with delivery
