For the VPSG6 Business Analyst role, we are seeking candidates who bring a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement capability, and a customer-centric mindset. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ICT business analysis, particularly within large and complex projects, and will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Significant ICT business analysis experience, with demonstrated experience of working on large/complex projects.
- Proven stakeholder and vendor engagement skill set is required
- Experience or qualification in ICT organisation change management will be highly regarded
- Formal qualifications in business analysis are desirable
- Experience in undertaking maturity assessment based on industry standards is desirable.
- Experience in SharePoint deployment desireable.
- Consultancy: Assists customers to clarify their business problem and needs. Clarifies expectations of the project's scope, roles, and outcomes. Responds flexibly to the customer's changing business Environment and needs. Develops practical & fit-for-purpose solutions to complex problems. Provides expert advice to customers on ICT Project Delivery. Liaises regularly with customers to manage expectations and service satisfaction.
- Business & Data Analysis: Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective bu siness process, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures and organisational change. Contributes to delivery of business cases which define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through new or changed processes, and associated business risks. Identifies stakeholders, their business needs, data management and analysis and impact of changes delivered by ICT projects.
- Change Analysis : Assesses the business impacts of the proposed change, taking into consideration the business and technical impacts and any business activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the "business as usual" environment. Assists the user community through the transition period and liaises with the project team and stakeholders for change planning activities.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria (office based at 2 Lonsdale St, Melbourne) with hybrid work arrangements available.
