Able Australia is seeking a values-driven Board Director who is passionate about empowering people with disability to live the life they choose. As a leading not-for-profit and registered NDIS provider, we are committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused services across Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland and the ACT.

We are looking for a strategic, collaborative leader who brings experience in governance, a deep understanding of the disability, health, aged care or not-for-profit sectors, and a strong commitment to ethical and impactful service.

We’re looking for a collaborative, governance-driven leader with experience in the disability, health, aged care or not-for-profit sectors and a strong ethical compass.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Significant relevant experience, skills and qualifications as required in alignment with the skill mix requirements of the Board.
  • Exposure to the Not-for-Profit, Disability, Health, or Aged Care sectors.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrate collaborative leadership, including emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise work and meet tight timeframes.
  • Sound integrity and ethics.
  • Governance driven.
