The Role
Are you a confident BDM who knows how to speak a builder’s language? Do you enjoy building strong relationships, managing a sales pipeline, and being out on the road?
Our client is a fast-growing construction supply company providing premium aluminium windows & doors and innovative building materials to some of Melbourne’s top builders, resellers, and developers. With strong demand and minimal competition, they’re now hiring 2 x BDM's – one to focus on windows & doors, and the other on building materials.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and grow relationships with builders, site managers, resellers, and project managers
- Follow up on inbound leads and identify new project opportunities
- Prospect and visit job sites and builder offices across Melbourne
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure quotes, delivery, and service exceed client expectations
- Assist with basic sales admin (processing orders via Xero/Fishbowl, liaising with warehouse, ensuring deliveries meet project schedules)

What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (construction or trade sales preferred)
- Confident relationship-builder with strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
- Comfortable canvassing sites, dropping samples, and nurturing long-term leads
- Tech-savvy enough to handle light admin in Xero/Fishbowl (training provided)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- A self-motivated, results-driven attitude — no micromanagement, just trust and support
