Machine Operator

Description:

Independent manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcing products to the building and construction industry is looking for MACHINE OPERATORS.

• Day Shift 5:00AM - 1:30PM
• $36.23 Per Hour Day Shift
• Safe, clean and modern working environment
• Plenty of opportunities to become permanent after 6 months

The role will include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

• Operating overhead cranes and forklifts to transport products and materials
• Manual handling
• Operating machine to cut and bend steel (Manual bender, double bender and Shearline)
• Checking quality of products

To be considered, you will need to have:

• Previous experience in the steel industry or heavy manufacturing.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
• Good work ethic, willing to learn and "CAN DO" attitude
• Ability to work 10-12 Hour days if required.
• Full working entitlements
