Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. Are you a passionate Physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic hospital setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join the Mobile Rehabilitation Team (MRT). In this role you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants to help deliver tailored rehabilitation programs to suitable patients within the acute wards of Nepean Hospital.
As part of this innovative model of care, you will be involved in specialist medical rehabilitation assessments and management, alongside allied health therapy and goal-focused multidisciplinary treatment plans. You will participate in regular team reviews and weekly case conferences to monitor patient progress and therapy goals. The MRT ensures efficient patient transitions to rehabilitation units when beds become available, and coordinates outpatient rehabilitation services for patients ready to return home.
This position requires availability for shifts from 08:00 to 16:30 every Thursday and Friday throughout the contract period.
