RESQ+ has a full-time Employment Consultant (EC) position available. Our ideal candidate would be based in our Blackall office ; however, we are open to considering applicants based in Longreach if required. This role involves travel and occasional overnight stays, so we are seeking someone who is adaptable and ready to go the extra mile to support our clients.
As an EC at RESQ+, the successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting our job seekers. They’ll work closely with our team to provide guidance and assistance, in addressing both vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment. The responsibilities would include ensuring job seekers meet their obligations and job search requirements as directed by Services Australia. Additionally, they would assist the job seeker with resumes, job applications, interview techniques, and offer post-placement support once employment is secured for them.
Essential requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Certificate IV in Employment Services preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite and employment services software.
