We’re recruiting on behalf of a valued client who needs an experienced Financial Accountant to step in and help prepare for an upcoming audit. This is a contract role offering immediate start, working closely with the Auditor, external accountant and internal finance officer so communication skills matter.The role requires someone who’s confident working with complex spreadsheets and understands how to take data from multiple sources and structure it for audit. We’re looking for someone with practical know-how, good instincts, and the ability to make sense of moving parts under tight timeframes.
You’ll need advanced Excel skills, attention to detail and be familiar with Xero. CA or CPA qualification would be ideal, though not essential if you’ve got the experience to match. An understanding of bank guarantees, creditor requirements and experience working across group structures will also be highly regarded.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll play a key part in getting the business audit-ready. You’ll need to be proactive, dependable, and ready to get stuck in from day one.
