As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you will be part of a team of passionate HR professionals working in partnership across the organisation.If you like variety, then this role is for you. You will be delivering a range of HR services, including providing HR advice, working with staff to resolve issues, providing coaching, training and support to senior leaders and staff.

What You Will Be Doing
- Provide quality HR advice to ensure the consistent application and use of policies, procedures and relevant legislation which support the business area to achieve its outcomes, and encourages a supportive, flexible and collaborative approach to employee management across the business.
- Provide contemporary, best practice HR services by identifying areas of need and conducting appropriate coaching, training, professional development and other proactive services to enhance managers' ability to effectively manage.
- Support the design and delivery of strategic HR projects and programs.
- Facilitate the resolution of complex employee issues through the provision of effective support, case management and workplace interventions
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their issues and developing innovative solutions.
- Promote best practice, educate and influence the implementation of HR strategies and discuss initiatives or changes relating to HR directives, policies or procedures.
Due to machinery of government the position is in the Department of Housing and Public Works.
