Help lead the evolution of workplace wellbeing in the Australian Defence Force.
We’re reimagining what performance looks like in high-stakes environments - placing people, movement and culture at the heart of sustainable excellence. As a Senior Workplace Health Therapist, you’ll bring expertise, initiative and leadership to a team driving meaningful change from the inside out.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Canberra. You’ll work directly with the people behind some of Australia’s most advanced Defence systems - supporting both their health and their ability to perform under pressure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and delivering best-practice wellbeing initiatives across multidisciplinary Defence teams
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff while modelling clinical and professional excellence
- Developing and refining content, programs and strategies that integrate movement, education and behaviour change
- Providing targeted exercise and movement support tailored to the demands of complex technical roles
- Working closely with stakeholders to embed a proactive, high-trust health culture across diverse teams
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or similar
- Minimum 5 years experience in performance, health or workplace wellbeing roles
- Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- NV1 Security Clearance preferred (or eligible to obtain one)
- Comfortable working independently in dynamic environments while supporting broader team goals
- A balance of strategic thinking and people-first, on-the-ground engagement

Essential Requirements
- Sports Medicine / Physio / Allied Health Degree
Desirable Criteria
- Relevant Coaching Accreditation
- Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
