Description:
The Senior Manager, Portfolio Management is responsible for overseeing strategic alignment, governance, and execution within the Pace Team. This role is crucial in driving transformation initiatives, leveraging technology, and developing content that supports strategic objectives and enhances business value.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the day to day management of the Pace team, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.
Develop and oversee governance frameworks to ensure effective decision-making and prioritisation of initiatives.
2. Transformation Initiatives :
Drive and support large-scale transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with available capacity.
Collaborate with the teams within Pace, and where relevant, across the group to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Leverage emerging technologies to enhance portfolio management processes and outcomes.
Model the use of AI to boost productivity across the team
4. Content Development :
Develop and deliver high-quality content and presentations that supports portfolio management practices and stakeholder engagement.
Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate portfolio performance and insights.
5. Stakeholder Engagement :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on portfolio management and transformation initiatives.
Role model practices that boost productivity and efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Experience in portfolio management, with a strong focus on technology and transformation.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and initiatives in a complex organisational environment.
- Strong content development skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative materials.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology, or a related field.
