What You Will Be Doing
- Pioneer the development of a cutting-edge AI-integrated financial infrastructure that scales effortlessly with our educational ventures
- Craft strategic design decisions that transform complex financial processes into streamlined, efficient workflows
- Elevate our financial intelligence through detailed analysis and improvement plans, training both AI systems and human teams
- Drive critical conversations around strategic budgeting, expansion initiatives, vendor partnerships, and regulatory compliance
- Orchestrate seamless financial operations across all domains - from tuition management to tax compliance
- Overseeing traditional hierarchical finance departments - we're lean and mean
- Getting bogged down in routine month-end closing rituals or transaction approvals
- Settling for off-the-shelf solutions when innovation is needed
- Creating delegation chains - you'll be in the trenches, leading by example
- Operating in a predictable, steady-state environment - we're all about rapid evolution
Build and maintain a state-of-the-art, AI-powered financial ecosystem that drives multiple education ventures forward, emphasizing efficiency, scalability, and zero redundancy.
Basic Requirements
- Hold a prestigious financial certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or MBA
- Proven track record of 10+ years in progressive financial leadership positions
- Executive-level finance experience with comprehensive oversight of core financial operations
- Expert-level mastery of US GAAP and financial statement integration
- Substantial experience optimizing and managing complex ERP systems in multi-entity environments
- Track record of successfully managing 5+ Big 4 external audits
- Superior communication abilities in English, capable of executive-level engagement
- Based within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones
- Inside knowledge of U.S. K-12 education systems and funding models
- Hands-on experience creating AI-enhanced financial automation systems
- Track record in managing finances across multiple entities and jurisdictions

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
