About the role

Join the City of Sydney and play a key role in developing frontline capability within our City Rangers unit. Weâre looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to co-design and deliver learning solutions that support compliance, performance, and staff development.Â

Â

Key responsibilities:Â

  • provide advice and support to managers on training needs, tailored learning programs and professional development solutionsÂ
  • design, develop and deliver learning solutions aligned with adult learning principles and compliance requirementsÂ
  • collaborate with People & Culture to tailor corporate training for City Rangers staffÂ
  • coordinate external providers and manage training logisticsÂ
  • maintain accurate training records and up-to-date learning & development materialsÂ
  • support onboarding and induction processes.Â

Â

Weâre looking for someone with:Â

  • certificate IV in Training and AssessmentÂ
  • strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsÂ
  • proven experience designing and delivering learning programs, preferably in a regulatory or local government settingÂ
  • knowledge of local government legislation and training compliance requirementsÂ
  • sound Microsoft Office and database management skills.Â

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.Â
